Old Enough for the "Oh Oh Song"

Even a little guy this age is not too young for Love and Logic... This is the prefect time to institute the "Oh, Oh" song. Start using the same phrase (like Oh, Oh!) every time a misbehaviour is noticed and then follow up by prmptly removing the offending object or moving the child.

"Oh,Oh! You threw your food. Time to get down!"

"Oh, Oh. You hit mommy, time for a few minutes to be safely in your crib."

"Oh, Oh, you threw water out of the tub, Time to get out."

Gradually a nueral pathway will form and the child will know instantly whn they here "Oh,Oh" to stop what they are doing.
